Matt Kjernes is our Chief Technology Officer at Cotality. He leads our technology strategy, the global engineering organization, and oversees the end-to-end engineering of Cotality’s product portfolio spanning Real Estate, Appraisal, Data Solutions, and Mortgage. Under Matt’s leadership, the organization has shifted toward an AI-native culture, leveraging generative AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate innovation.
Previously, Matt spent over a decade in P&C Insurance technology with West Bend Mutual Insurance and Marshall & Swift/Boeckh, focusing on M&A integration, big data management, and cloud architecture.
