How do I prepare for my exam?
The training is optional, and it will ensure that you understand the main concepts covered in the exam.
How long is the Certification exam?
The exam includes 2 hours of timed testing, plus pre-work that is not timed.
How much does training cost?
Training for Levels 1 and 2 is completely free within the Cotality Learning Community. Company-specific onsite training is available for a fee.
Can I skip Level 1 and take Level 2 directly?
Yes. While we recommend starting at Level 1, you may begin with the exam that best matches your skills and experience. Check out our readiness check tool to ensure you are ready for the exam.
What if I fail the exam?
You'll receive two additional attempts at no extra cost. After two unsuccessful attempts at the Level 1 Exam, coaching sessions are available. For Level 2 Certification, coaching sessions are available after the first unsuccessful attempt. If all three attempts are exhausted, re-registration and payment are required.
How long is my certification valid?
Your Cotality Claims Certification is valid for two years. We'll remind you when it's time to renew. Recertification requires completing the current exam and registration process.
