- Australia (Black Summer 2019–2020): An estimated 35.8 million hectares burned, destroying over 3,000 homes
- Greece (August 2021): The country's worst heatwave since 1987 drove fires through 125,000 hectares of forest and farmland, destroying dozens of homes and forcing the evacuation of villages and towns
- Canada (Jasper Wildfire, July 2024): Swept into Jasper, Alberta, destroying 358 structures containing an estimated 806 residential units and generating an estimated C$1.23 billion in insured losses
