Cotality Australia deepens commitment to mortgage brokers with appointment of Broker Ambassador
Property information, analytics and data-enabled solutions provider Cotality Australia, formerly CoreLogic Australia, has reaffirmed its commitment to the mortgage broking sector with the appointment of Christian Stevens as its first Broker Ambassador.
The new role forms part of Cotality Australia's broader strategy to co-design tools and solutions that genuinely support brokers in a fast-evolving market.
The announcement comes as Cotality launches a new national suite of broker tools designed to help brokers manage the entire home lending journey.
From identifying early indicators a client may be preparing to sell, to maintaining engagement after settlement, the tools are designed to eliminate manual tasks and help brokers act at the right time with the right insights.
Chris Wagner, Head of Broker at Cotality Australia, said the appointment is a critical step in ensuring brokers remain central to the company’s innovation agenda.
“The broker channel is evolving quickly. We want to ensure brokers have access to high-quality data, automation that works, and tools that support long-term client relationships,” Mr Wagner said.
“Having Christian in this role gives brokers a stronger voice in how we build and refine our solutions. He knows what matters to brokers – and what doesn’t.”
Lisa Jennings, Executive, Corporate Business Development at Cotality Australia, said Christian’s appointment signals a clear intent to develop solutions with brokers, not just for them.
“We’re delighted to welcome Christian as our Broker Ambassador. His deep experience in the broker market brings a valuable perspective to our product development process,” Ms Jennings said.
“His insights are already helping us test assumptions, validate ideas and stay focused on what brokers really need to succeed. It’s a true partnership.”
Christian Stevens, CEO of Flint and now Broker Ambassador for Cotality, said the focus must remain on practical innovation.
“We’ve built our business on data – it’s how we give sound mortgage advice and help clients make informed property decisions,” Mr Stevens said.
“Cotality’s tools make that easier. The data is accurate, easy to use, and aligned to how brokers actually work – not how a platform thinks they should.
This role is about making sure technology serves brokers, not the other way around.”
In his new role, Mr Stevens will help bridge the gap between Cotality and the broker community, ensuring ongoing alignment between product development and real-world broker needs.
He will also support adoption of technology that adds value without adding complexity.
Cotality’s broker solution suite is now being rolled out nationally, with tailored support available for brokers and aggregators seeking to integrate the tools into their day-to-day operations.
