As Australians engage in conversations around equity in property ownership, CoreLogic has commissioned new research into property ownership across Australian men and women.

Overall females (62.7%) had slightly lower dwelling ownership rates than males (64.4%)

Significantly more (13.8%) Gen Z males own at least one investment property, compared to their female counterparts (6.4%)

Property investing continues to skew towards men with 14.2% of males owning at least one residential investment property compared to 11.4% of women

This year's report will offer an update to the insights we uncovered in last year's report, providing a deeper look at key metrics such as home ownership rates among Australian women and men, as well as differences in motivations, attitudes and barriers to getting on the property ladder.

Don't miss the fifth annual edition of the report to understand the state of home ownership for men and women across the country - and how the equity gap in property comes into play.
