This Privacy Policy(“Privacy Policy”) provides information about how CoreLogic, Inc. d/b/a Cotality and our affiliates (collectively, “Cotality” or “we”) use, collect and transfer personal data from visitors to our websites (collectively the “Website“). Cotality’s affiliates subject to this Privacy Policy include Symbility Solutions, Inc., Prospects Software Inc., Marshall & Swift/Boeckh (Canada)Ltd, Next Gear Solutions Canada, Inc., CoreLogic Solutions Canada, ULC, CoreLogic Solutions, LLC, CoreLogic Spatial Solutions, LLC, and Location, Inc.

This Privacy Policy applies to Website visitors located in Canada and is intended to comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to the Personal Data Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA") and Quebec Law 25.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy covers only data collected through the Website and not any other data collection or processing, including, without limitation, data collection practices of other websites to which we link or data that we collect offline or through websites, products, or services that do not display a direct link to this Privacy Policy.

2.1. What is Personal Data?

We may also use information for any internal purpose, such as quality control efforts or customer analysis.

2.6. Retention and Storage of Information

We may retain your personal data for as long as required to achieve the purposes, for which it was collected, in accordance with applicable law. Personal data that we collect is generally stored and processed in the United States or Canada. However, such personal data may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate (Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand) for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable law. Your information may be subject to access by foreign governments, courts, law enforcement or regulatory agencies.

2.7. Sharing of Information

We will only share your information with third parties in accordance with applicable law. Such disclosures may include situations requiring us to respond to subpoenas or other legal process or requests from governmental authorities conducting an investigation. We may also disclose your personal data to our external auditors or professional advisors (such as lawyers and other advisors), in which case the recipient of the information will be bound by confidentiality obligations.

It is possible that Cotality, its subsidiaries, affiliates, joint venture companies, or any combination of them, could merge with or be acquired by another legal entity. In such event, or in the event of any other proposed or actual purchase, sale (including a liquidation, realization, foreclosure or repossession), lease, merger, amalgamation or any other type of acquisition, disposal, transfer, conveyance or financing of all or any portion of Cotality or of any of the business or assets or shares of Cotality or a subsidiary or division thereof, Cotality may share your information with third parties.

With your consent, we may also share your information with companies that perform marketing services on our behalf, on behalf of our affiliated companies or with other financial institutions with which we or our affiliated companies have joint marketing agreements. As required by law, we will request your consent to share your information with third parties, such as lenders, real estate agents, and insurers, so that they may offer you products and services that may be of interest to you.

3. Cookies and other tracking technologies

The Website uses “cookie” technology to measure Website activity and to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the Website, pages visited and other information about your visit to the Website. Cookies are also used to prefill information previously entered into forms and to customize information to your personal tastes. We may share information about you that we collect through a cookie with third parties that help us analyze Website data, in accordance with applicable law.

We use Google Analytics Advertising Features with Google Signals, which includes Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, and Google Analytics Demographics and Interests Reporting to advertise online. Google Signals provides insight into cross-device user journeys and allows us to remarket to signed-in Google users across devices. Websites and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies(such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on someone’s past visits to a website.

5.2 SMS/MMS

End Users that agree to receive Cotality SMS or MMS messages are subject to the Messaging Service Terms and Conditions. No mobile opt-in data will be shared with or sold to third parties. If you have agreed to receive SMS or MMS messages that may be offered by Cotality, you may unsubscribe from those SMS or MMS messages received by replying “STOP,” “QUIT,” “END,” “REVOKE,” “OPT OUT,” “CANCEL,” or “UNSUBSCRIBE.”

Certain functionality on the Website may permit interactions that you initiate between the Website and a third party website or service (“Social Features”). If you choose to use Social Features, information you post or provide access to may be publicly displayed by the provider of the Social Feature that you use. Similarly, if you post information on a third party platform that references the Website (e.g., by using a hashtag associated with Cotality in a tweet or status update), your post may be published on the Website in accordance with the terms of the third party website or service. Also, both Cotality and the third party may have access to certain information about you and your use of the Website and the third party site or service. The information we collect in connection with Social Features is subject to this Privacy Policy. The information collected and stored by the third party remains subject to the third party’s privacy practices.

8. Children's online privacy

The Website is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not intentionally or knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16 and we request that individuals under the age of 16 do not submit any personal data on the Website. If we learn that we have received identifying information from a user under the age of 16, we will delete this information.

9. Third party websites

There may be hyperlinks on the Website to other websites or locations that are operated and controlled by third parties (“Third Party Websites“). These Third-Party Websites may solicit personal data from you. We make no representations regarding the policies or business practices of such Third Party Websites and encourage you to familiarize yourself with their privacy policies before providing them with your personal data.
